About us

A docket is a register

The register that records every matter and where it stands. Ours isn't a piece of paper: it's an engine.

Every firm already had that register. Spread across folders, emails, spreadsheets and people's heads — but it existed. What didn't exist was anyone to move it: files only advanced when someone remembered to push them, and the hours went on remembering.

We built Docket so the register moves on its own. Not to replace a professional's judgement — that isn't replaceable — but to take off their hands everything that doesn't need it: requesting paperwork, copying it, watching dates, remembering what's next.

We're a small team and we build Docket next to the real work of firms and offices. Every piece exists because it was costing someone hours; what doesn't save hours doesn't get in.

How we work

Sober on purpose

One thing lit up per screen: what's happening now. The rest stays quiet. People spend six hours a day in here; the interface has no right to tire them.

The work is in charge

We speak the professional's language — file, procedure, deadline, requirement — and order the screens the way a day is ordered: the urgent first, the rest after.

Clear before impressive

A control says exactly what it does. An error explains what happened and how to fix it. And when something stops, it says why and who it's waiting for.
